- sets out the adaptive management provisions in New Zealand’s Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf (Environmental Effects) Act 2012 (EEZ Act)
- examines some of the policy thinking that led to adaptive management being included in the EEZ Act
- describes how an adaptive management approach was considered in recent marine consent decisions
- discusses challenges with applying adaptive management to seabed mining activities.
